A fine quality Welsh oak chest of drawers in excellent condition. This substantial chest is made from wonderfully figured Welsh oak which is embellished with carved mahogany scrolled shaped pillars and serpentine moulded top drawers. It has its original turned oak bun feet, drawer knobs and drawer interior lining paper. The underside of two drawers are signed Samuel Thomas, Llwynybrain & dated 1865.
