A little bit of Bach
Mon. June 10, 2013
We had the most glorious evening last Friday, listening to Catrin Finch playing Bach’s Goldberg Variations at Acapela in Pentyrch, Cardiff. The venue, a converted chapel with the stage below the pulpit and the pretty painted pews and upstairs gallery, make it an intimate place to listen to sublime music. The bar is stocked with delicious wines supplied by Arth wines of Penarth and the walls are covered with interesting art which is also. As well as wonderful Catrin Finch, we also were treated to some pieces by Charlie Lovell-Jones who is amazing and will no doubt be a musician to watch. We will certainly be visiting again.
