London’s calling

We visited the British Folk Art exhibition at the Tate last week. It was a joy to behold. I came out inspired to make and create, whilst Mr B felt inspired to buy more folk art (there is very little room for more of anything in our house). One can never have enough, he says. The accompanying book is well illustrated with lots of information, but written in annoyingly small print (I need a magnifying glass as well as my reading specs). This must have been a difficult exhibition to curate – where do the boundaries of folk art lay? But the Tate have done an outstanding job and this 2014 British Folk Art landmark exhibition will be remembered as an excellent feast for the eye and imagination.
