Welsh oak chest / Cist dderw Gymreig

A rare & unusually small early Welsh oak chest, with chip and channel moulded decoration.
The boarded chest sits inside the four partially hollowed out legs; a type of construction associated with the Black mountain area of Breconshire and Radnorshire in mid Wales.
