The Snowdon was a cargo ship, built by Richardson, Duck & Co.,
Stockton in 1896 and owned at the time of her loss by Radcliffe & Co.
Cardiff. On May 19th, 1918, the Snowdon, on a voyage from Cardiff to
Milos with a cargo of coal, was sunk by a German submarine, 84 miles
off Malta.
