A traditional 19th century Welsh three legged stool, with a turned dished sycamore top and three turned ash legs, with traces of the original finish.

There are numerous & wonderful ancient metalwork repairs to the underside of the seat, which is a reminder that some of these stools were a functional every-day item of furniture and running repairs were often carried out from necessity and economy. The old repairs are working well – its a sturdy stool.
